Volcano Golf Course and Country Club

If you are looking for a laid back green, that is not overcrowded and still nicely maintained, the Volcano Golf Course is the place for you to go. It is an 18-hole, par 72 course, which offers some nice challenges.

But what makes this golf course so unique is its location and views. You got both Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa as a backdrop, and you might be even able to see hawks, wild turkeys and nene (Hawaiian ducks).

Supposedly this is the only golf course in the world built on an active volcano. Don’t miss out on an affordable and great breakfast or lunch at the golf course restaurant.

Opening hours: daily 7am-5pm, Cost: $63
Address: Pi'i Mauna Dr., across from the entrance to Volcanoes National Park
Phone: (808) 967-7331

Volcano Winery
